Nike Puts You in Neymar’s Shoes on the Soccer Pitch With VR Experience

Nike is the latest brand to launch a virtual reality experience, with a 90-second film promoting the launch of its Hypervenom Phantom II shoe. The experience, created by Wieden & Kennedy Portland and directed via Smuggler’s Adam Berg, lets people step into the shoes of Brazillian soccer superstar Neymar Jr. using Google Cardboard.

It gives users a 90-second in-game experience from Neymar’s perspective — and they even get to score a goal. The film is also available on YouTube 360, and for true VR, the experience is available in some Nike retail stores via the Samsung Gear VR headset.
