Facebook's first live-action
VR film shows the power
of 360 video

There’s no denying the power of people-watching at train stations, especially when hellos and goodbyes offer a genuine window into the lives of those around you.
I’m about 30 blocks south at Facebook’s New York office, watching the company's first original piece of content shot with its new professional-grade Facebook Surround 360 camera.
The short film, a live-action virtual reality experience called Here and Now, transports you to busy Grand Central to watch a series of vignettes play out before your eyes. The fully produced and choreographed video made its debut on Facebook today, just one month after the camera was announced on stage at the F8 developers conference.
